Robotics is a wonderful field of study. Creating intelligent machines can fuel our imagination, creativity, and desire to make a difference. Robotics technology will play a key role in the future of humanity, and we are currently very directly shaping that future in the research labs and classrooms around the country and the world. Most importantly, studying robotics early on can help the student to establish a foundation for a better understanding of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) topics. Getting hooked on creative robotics open the students minds and builds their confidence for a great variety of topics in STEM. Without such fun, mind-opening learning and discovery, students often incorrectly judge STEM as either uncool or unattainable. We need something real and true about robotics and its potential, while staying interesting and engaging.
